For Over 25 years Sharon Piping & Equipment, Inc., has been a leading supplier of stainless steel pipe, valves, fittings, and flanges to the industrial distribution marketplace. In 2007 the suburban Chicago-based company launched its Sonic Toque® Division. This division specializes in manufacturing a full-line of actuators from pneumatic 4x4 to limit switches, solenoids and gear operators.
With the addition of Sonic Torque® division, the company built on its reputation for quality manufacturing that earned it an ISO 9001-2000 registration from Underwriters Laboratories. Sonic Torque® actuators are proving effective in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, chemical processing, paper and pulp, petroleum, power generation, food processing, and more. They're readily available for distribution in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. All assembly of Sonic Torque® Actuators takes place at the company's plant located at its Northlake, IL headquarters. Actuators can be custom made to varying specifications, design modifications, and special needs.
